Women have always been part of the history of war, but this guest lecture by Dr. Jonathan Beall explains the roles and contributions of women in guerrilla warfare in modern military history. Dr. Beall highlights different ways that guerrilla and revolutionary movements rely heavily upon women for political and military leadership, in important support roles, and in combat.
About Jonathan Beall, Ph.D.
Dr. Beall is an Assistant Professor of History at the University of North Georgia. He holds a Ph.D. in Military History from Texas A&M University and lectures on modern military history and war and society in the U.S.
