Women have had the right to vote for 100 years. The first woman to cast her ballot in an election was in Utah in 1870. Author Susan Swann will discuss Utah's history granting women the right to vote, taking it away, and then granting it a final time in 1896.
Susan Swann is the author of Sister Suffragists, a historical fiction novel detailing the suffragist battle for the vote in Utah. Copies of her novel will be available for purchase.
