Favorite fairy tales can be found in far-flung places, as we explore variations of familiar stories from around the globe. 

We'll hear about Lon Po Po in Ed Young's retelling of the Chinese Little Red Riding Hood; John Steptoe's Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters, a magical Cinderella story from Zimbabwe; Paco and the Giant Chile Plant, a reimagining of Jack and the Beanstalk from Keith Polette; Virginia Hamilton's Caribbean Rumpelstiltskin, The Girl Who Spun Gold; and more! 

Props, costumes, puppets, and music are all incorporated by master storyteller Barry Stewart Mann to bring these classic tales to life!

This program will take place on FCPL's GoToWebinar platform. Registration is required.
