Explore your creative side in this picture book-inspired art program. Each month we will highlight a different book or illustrator and provide a Grab Bag with art supplies so you can join in the fun. This month we will take a look at the art of Henri Matisse in the book Henri's Scissors by Jeanette Winter, then try "painting with scissors", ourselves.
Supplies are limited. Reserve a space early to take part. This program is designed for children in grades K-5.
Here's how it works:
First, register for the program. Register each child individually. Once registered, your Art Grab Bag will be sent to your requested branch. You may pick up your grab bag through Contact-free Curbside Pickup or inside the branch.
Register by January 29th. Pick up your grab bag between February 6th and 10th. The Cre-ART-ivity programs are posted with unlisted videos on our YouTube channel. An email link to the program will be sent to you on February 11th. Once you receive the link, you may watch the pre-recorded YouTube video at your convenience.
