Some of the most important skills that children develop in their early years involve learning to "bounce back" from hardship and to take life's inevitable ups and downs in stride. Dr. Erin Tone will discuss what research tells us about practical ways that parents/caregivers can help children gain and maintain such emotional resilience from infancy onward.
A series of programs offered once each month, Know as They Grow is designed for parents of children ages birth to six years of age. Each month, FCPL welcomes early childhood experts to discuss topics that are of interest to parents. Know as They Grow programs take place on FCPL's GoToMeeting platform. Registration is requested, and an email with login information will be sent prior to the program.
