UGA Family and Consumer Sciences Agent Barbara Worley leads a four-part lecture series guiding participants in exploring and understanding the science of safe food preservation.
The course covers boiling water canning, pressure canning, freezing, and drying. Participants will receive information from the National Center for Home Food Preservation and gain knowledge on recommended practices, equipment, and supplies needed.
The Farm to Table series is presented by UGA Extension and is intended for adults. Advance registration is required.
